How to enroll
The master degrees in Evolutionary Biology and in Marine Biology do not have an admission limit in the number of enrolled students. The student must pre-enroll following the dates and instructions available at the Scuola di Scienze website and, for international students at the University website. International students can apply through the dedicated website or they can directly contact the coordinator of the master degree prof.ssa Marisa Brini (marisa.brini@unipd.it), the deadline to complete the enrollment procedure is 31 december 2021 (but see dedicated deadlines for International students).
To get access to the Master Courses in Evolutionary Biology the candidate needs to have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biological sciences, Environmental science and technologies, Biotechnologies, or related subjects. A degree in Animal sciences and Animal breeding science and technology is also suitable for the Marine Biology master only. Alternatively they must have proved skills in Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, Physical chemistry, General, Organic and inorganic chemistry, General, Systematic, Environmental and applied botany, Genetics, General microbiology, Physiology and Hygiene and public health.
Minimum GPA equivalent to Italian 95/110
The knowledge of the English language (B2 level, reading and listening) is also required.
